The get to know the city tour has you visiting the magnificent golden-domed Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque with it's imposing towers and elaborate mosaic patterns; the regal Royal Regalia Building and a photo opportunity view of the Istana Nural Iman, the official residence of His Majesty, The Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The Kampong Ayer Tour

Named by the great Chronicler Antonio Pigafetta, of the Megellan expedition as the "Venice of the East", your tour will take you around the ancient waterways of Kampong Ayer. You will experience the traditional life of the villages which have changed little for centuries. At the end of this tour you will be treated with local cakes and tea at the boatman's house.

Start with a tour of the city and it's mosques and Royal Regalia building, then visit the world famous Venice of the East Kampong Ayer or Water Village, which has been in continuous habitation since 1521. A traditional lifestyle in stilts houses built over the Brunei River still continues, though most of the inhabitants enjoy modern facilities.

Seria is the "Oil Capital" of Brunei and the hour drive from Bandar Seri Begawan offers a glimpse of rural life in Brunei, plus views of sandy beaches and verdant jungle. See the 'nodding donkeys', OGDC (Oil & Gas Discovery Centre) and  the Billionth Barrel monument.
